1974-1980: Learning facilitator for children in many local communities in the Islands of Panay and Guimaras, Philippines

1980-1986: Youth leader of the Christian Youth Fellowship (CYF) United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP), served as President of the Western Visayas Conference CYF; Vice-chairperson for Visayas Jurisdiction CYF; Chairperson for National CYF Committees.

1986-1987: Youth Intern of Christian Conference of Asia Youth (CCA-Youth) sent to Ecumenical Youth Council in Europe (EYCE). Served as resource person for Asian Youth concerns and issues, traveled to Hungary, Germany, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Finland and Switzerland.
